We are seeking a talented and motivated Clinical Analyst to join the Information Systems team at Newman Regional Health, the largest and most clinically capable Critical Access Hospital in Kansas. As a MEDITECH Expanse organization, we are looking for an individual who is passionate about optimizing clinical and operational workflows, partnering with healthcare professionals, and leveraging technology to improve patient outcomes and organizational efficiency.

This is a Full-Time position Monday through Friday with flexible hours. Core hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Remote Work Opportunity: While candidates residing in the Emporia, Kansas area may work on-site, Newman Regional Health is open to a fully remote work arrangement for highly qualified candidates with significant healthcare information systems experience, particularly those with demonstrated expertise supporting and optimizing MEDITECH Expanse applications and workflows.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of healthcare workflows and experience supporting electronic health record (EHR) platforms, with a particular emphasis on MEDITECH Expanse, including inpatient, ambulatory, revenue cycle, and ancillary applications. This role is responsible for evaluating workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement, configuring and maintaining clinical applications, providing end-user support and training, troubleshooting system issues, participating in project implementations, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance operational efficiency, support organizational goals, and improve patient care delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of healthcare experience
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to accept responsibility and independently drive issues to resolution
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Technical aptitude with the ability to learn and support complex healthcare applications
• Ability to communicate effectively with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated adaptability and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex challenges

Strongly Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting or administering MEDITECH Expanse
• Knowledge of clinical workflows across inpatient, ambulatory, emergency, and ancillary care settings
• Experience with healthcare revenue cycle processes and supporting technologies
• Previous healthcare IT, informatics, analyst, super-user, or EHR support experience
• Experience participating in EHR optimization, implementation, upgrade, or workflow redesign initiatives
• Understanding of healthcare interoperability, interfaces, reporting, and data analysis
